Back Basin Hide, 16-17 June 2018

Great bike/tramp combo to visit the curious and remote Back Basin Hide. We got permission from Glenthorne Station to drive to Lilian Creek, from where we biked up the Avoca to Basins Hut. Back Basin hide is a short hike up Basin Creek from here. Built for Chamois Research in the 70s, the hide is unique and situated in a spectacular location, perched just on bushline.
