Fantastic weekend trip in the rugged Victoria Range to climb Ivess Peak via its exposed south ridge. Day 1: Klondyke Valley track to its head, then up to the tarns and along the ridge via Mt Blackadder to lake below Ivess Peak. Day 2: Climb of south ridge of Ivess Peak and descent via col at head of Shaw Stream. Trying bushbash back up to camp and out via Lake Stream. Team: James Thornton & Nina Dickerhof
