Smyth Hut, 19-21 January 2018

Fun bash up the wild Wanganui to Smyth Hut. We intended to climb Mt Whitcombe, but high river levels prevented a safe crossing of Vane Stream, so we plodded back down to spend the second night at Hunters Hut before an unhurried walk out back to the car on day 3.
